This document provides guidance to development applicants who are seeking a change of land use for land that has been identified as:

  1. Known or potential habitat for the Mount Lofty Ranges Southern Emu-wren
  2. Containing Fleurieu Peninsula Swamps

and provides advice on whether activities within and around swamps and other emu-wren habitat may require referral under the EPBC Act and what information the EPBC Unit may require to make decisions on development applications
